Impact Technical Publications Who is this man, and why is he here?

Richard Wagner by Ric Rainbo
Technicolor Wagner
Ric Rainbo, 1989

Answer:
Richard Wagner (1813 - 1883), the official Impact composer.

We admit that having an official company composer doesn't actually contribute to our bottom line.

But the impact of Wagner's genius changed the way people respond to music, and impact is what we're all about!

Wagner at Opera Colorado

There isn't any. Fortunately, the April 18 & 20, 2008, concert performances of The Flying Dutchman with James Morris, Hasmik Papian, and our wonderful Colorado Symphony on stage at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House were phenomenal!

The 2008-2009 season features Puccini's Madama Butterfly (November 8, 11, 14, 16, 2008), Bizet's The Pearl Fishers (February 14, 17, 20, 22, 2009), and Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte (April 26, 28, May 1, 3, 2009).

Wagner at the Colorado Symphony

Marin Alsop conducts the Prelude to Die Meistersinger. Naturally, we would much rather have her conduct the whole opera, but we will settle for the prelude. October 3-5, 2008.
